报告内容简介：

In this talk, we discuss some recent results onEulerian-type polynomials, including descent-type polynomials, excedance-type polynomials, and ascent-plateau-type polynomials.Wealsopresent a survey on the study of David-Barton identities. By using an alternate formulation of the David-Barton identity which relates the alternating run polynomials to Eulerian polynomials, we find that for any gamma-positive polynomial, there exists a David-Barton type identity.

报告人简介：

叶永南，温州大学特聘教授。1985年在美国纽约州立大学获博士学位。1987年返台湾地区任“中研院”数学所副研究员，1991年1月晋升为研究员。曾任加拿大魁北克大学资讯与数学系研究学者，麻省理工学院、柏克莱加州大学统计系和澳洲Monash大学经济系访问学者；台北数学推动中心主任, “中研院”数学所副所长。学术研究除数学外, 还涉及物理、化学、统计、经济等多个领域。多次获得台湾地区杰出研究奖, 杰出研究计划奖, 杰出特约研究员(得过多次杰出奖, 才有资格申请此奖)。2021年9月特聘为温州大学教授，获浙江省海外高层次人才引进计划-创新人才长期项目。组合图论方向国际顶级杂志JCTA曾出版专门文章介绍Yeh-species--由叶永南研究员名字命名的领域, 目前此方向的研究仍然在不断深入。发表国际高质量论文100余篇，最高单篇文章引用三百余次，多篇文章引用超100余次。曾多次应邀在重要的国际学术会议上作大会报告。
